The Atmosphere module aggregates information from different sources, including atmospheric model data and satellite data. Here we present a summary of the method used in the development of MapBiomas Atmosphere. For more information, access the ATBD (Algorithm Theory Base Document) at this <a href=\"https:\/\/brasil.mapbiomas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2026\/05\/ATBD-MapBiomas-Atmosphere_14jan2026.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LINK<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The methodological workflow consisted of: (i) resampling data from different sources to a common spatial grid; (ii) calculation of derived atmospheric variables; (iii) data validation against independent observations at surface. Spatiotemporal series of atmospheric data from different sources were resampled to a reference spatial grid, with a spatial resolution of 0.1 degrees (approximately 10 km) and monthly temporal resolution.
